A highly recommended site, I lose hours perusing and spiraling into the layers of curious ephemera. Bibliodyssey is a treasure trove of historical imagery, so telling of humanity ages and ages ago. The illustrations are rich and detailed, the knowledge over-flowing, the resources vast. I love visiting this blog. A few snippets to share of the children's books I've just discovered (above). The barely tinted palettes, the loose line quality and the whimsical tales speak to the timeless, universal and clever nature of children.
