I will write more letters this year, by hand from the heart, just a moment of stillness between two people. Lovely studio here to inspire (see einblicke and flickr).
I am tired, Beloved,
of chafing my heart against
the want of you;
of squeezing it into little inkdrops,
And posting it.

What a wonderful thought in these hyper electronic times. Happy new year!
I love this idea! I've often thought about creating some sort of small knit group that sends letters to one another whenever they can :) Let me know if you're ever interested in a pen pal!
Sending you love!
why did you have to go for my juggler -
that is my fetish for paper and for letters from the heart.
lovely.
pen pal, include me please.
What a great idea! I love that, hm, I might have to steal that.
I just love that little green doggie card!
oh, just darling.
I have a few friends that I correspond with, but instead of simply writing letters, we put little packets together and mail them to each other. Sometimes it is a set of photographs, maybe some shells I picked up at the beach, a booklet full of humor and cigarette butts (from my friend Marcia)...it can be whatever. But I promise you whatever they contain, they are a treat to receive.
