poppytalk love

A few sweet sites to share with you. I'm in the wonderful company of some lovely designers and artists this month on poppytalk handmade. I've slowly been absorbing this fantastic collection hand-picked by poppytalk for the mid-winter season. Three favorites thus far whom I've contacted and/or made a purchase. 1. The magical miniature world of e. soule. I'm thrilled to own a pair of lamb and plan to give a swan and ostrich next week. The softest focus and elegant hues make this teeny toyland a whimsical world for all kids at heart. (deepest apologies to e for the incident with our newly adopted dog and said prints. immense gratitude for the repairs) 2. Exquisite and sustainable Night Owl Paper Goods. Self-described as 'modern yet folksy' (perfectly put), the 2009 desk calendar will make its way into my sister's stocking and mine too! Thanks, Santa. 3. Ah, when in Rome. The gorgeous work of Carta, Inc. pays homage to the rich tradition of Italian bookbinding, hand letterpress and deliciously tactile paper. Angela's site is a dream; the craft, the ribbon, the typography, each work is easily a piece of fine art fit for the Uffizi itself.

Making my way around the rest of the poppytalk market over the weekend. Hope you will too!

Glad to have you back! As I have mentioned to you before, yours is one of the only blogs I make a point to visit on a regular basis. And congrats on your inclusion on Poppytalk Handmade--that's awesome!
