oo la la, handmade for the hip mama

Alas, springtime in Paris...a bit of eye candy here for the hip mom in your life (surely you remember her). Deliciously soft bags, handmade in France by designer ilemi. I can't recall where I first stumbled upon these (so forgive me if I'm not passing on due props) but they're worth another peek. Her gorgeous designs are simply detailed, subdued yet lush. I can't seem to find a tremendous amount of info. on her but she does have an etsy shop and is represented in several boutiques. Do take a trip through her 'link' l'Eclaireur, into the streets of Paris. The shops and spaces are magically nostalgic and bohemian chic. Oh to carelessly stroll through the tuileries, bag over shoulder, glass of champagne in hand, poetry whispering in the breeze...my two-year old now stirs from her nap, au revoir.
