enjoy and remember

A festive image found via Beau Travail via estaminet coquet. Alas...I cannot speak French but am wrapped up in the romance and 'otherness' of these spaces and places. Well-worn environments, stories of the past setting the stage for contemporary life, ubiquitous yet vibrant. I once told my daughter that all airplanes were headed to Paris. We used to sit for hours as she toddled around pointing out jets overhead...me, longing.

A lovely sketch to sound in the holiday weekend. Enjoy and remember.

Thank you for the link to me ! As you don"t speak french, I don't speak very well english. I read all your posts, but I don't understand everything ! I should practice...
Concerning my blog, I just want to translate something : I was born in Nice, on the Riviera - South of France, but I live in Paris since 9 years. We are about to move to Burgundy, where we bought a house last year. With my husband and my two children, we would like to have a more natural life. That's why we think of leaving the city to go to the campaign.
That was just a comment for you, so that you can look at my blog and understand a little bit more what it treats exactly.
It is great to have contact as you are so far away !
I will be visiting Periwinkleblomm very regurlarly.
A bientôt !
Anne.
