I read the Washington post article here when it first came out, and was just amazed. What has our world come to? But the scary thing is that I don't think I would have stopped if I was on the run, busy getting somewhere... My favorite part of the story was the little boy who instinctively knew something unusual was happening, he was mesmerized by the music. Thanks for sharing!

so lovely.. & i love that proverb! i remember as a little kid, trying to rally groups of people together to sing & some of the adults saying that they could not sing. that was the strangest thought to me & i said to them, we can ALL sing...
it's a reminder to me now of the ways in which we all hold ourselves back... when we could really be SINGING!!! : )

I am one of seven, and when I we were on the Belle of Louisville, and I was intrigued with having mastered the art of tying my shoe and was left (nearly) behind however, my Mom did the head count and realized, aha, one missing. It has been the topic of memory lane for many and I had have been known to linger or many a work of art, or the learning of something new, it just pulls me in. I would have stopped, stayed and perhaps invited him for dinner.
