french bliss

I'm gushing over this new etsy collection of dreamy images by the ever-talented Mrs. French. I have been a fan of Traci's blissful finds since I first entered the blogosphere and am grateful to call her my friend. To my delight, her links opened up a world of charming, sophisticated, whimsical, unique, thoughtful and delicious design. Her web of women is endlessly reassuring that the need to create and the depth of sisterhood prevails. And we were all invited to see her own process bloom right before our eyes!

Mrs. French's photos celebrate the making of art combined with the nuances of nature. She has captured an ethereal aesthetic of subtle tones and big forms. Often her view is askew or as if through a magnifying glass. The images expose the details, refined and full. My favorite, a series of naked bulbs, skeletal across a warm blue sky, an abstracted black line with little bursts of light in a dotted diagonal. Love this image reminiscent of summer fairs and hand-crafted ambiance. A blissful collection indeed available both small scale and over-sized. Well done, you!

These are really wonderful. The top image is my favorite as well, although I like them all very much.

I cheer Mrs. French on along with you. Her photos are so pretty and I always peer into my contact on flickr to see what new and wonderful image is there waiting to be admired. I love the string of lights the most out of all her photos.
