go west, young man
A lovely weekend had by all in the cool crisp air of Colorado. From mid-century modern to rustic mountain cottage, we celebrated with fireworks, cupcakes, fantastic wine and dear friends. High praise for the high design in Denver, posh museums, über-functional grids, a renaissance of loft-life and minimal style paying homage to the environment. Earthy yet cosmopolitan. More earthy yet was the gorgeous winding drive to Estes Park and Camp Cheley. A breathtaking retreat rooted in an American history of big dreams and spirited youth. This vigorous summer camp fosters "honesty, purity, determination and love" all cradled within snow caps, streams and sleeping bags. If only adults still had summer break! Do see the 'family camp' options, a more perfect holiday I cannot imagine.
Cheers to love and friendship, thanks for having us.
